This was our submission for a major new contemporary art gallery in Munich. We were selected as part of a 25 shortlist of architects with only two other UK architects featured on the list.
The competition was for a contemporary art gallery to be built by the Brandhorst Foundation. The site is in the heart of the museum quarter of Munich.
The competition was submitted at the end of June 2002 and was judged by an impressive panel of architects and others. The eventual winners of the competition were Sauerbach Hutton Architects.
